Greetings YWA/FWFG Community! And, welcome to those who are stumbling upon this for the first time! You belong here.
Each month, we gather to focus on a theme and follow a monthly yoga calendar. This supports you on your journey by providing loving accountability. It helps bring intention in where it is lacking and a sense of discipline, if you need it. Most of us do! It provides you with a structure to work with your body, tend to your mind, and connect to your self. It can also provide opportunity for you to connect to others, if you want it.
It’s hard to believe that we are heading into the last quarter of 2019, but, alas, it’s real. Here we are!
This month as a community we will be playing with the theme EXPLORE.
This month’s community idea invites you to get playful, tap into your creativity, and explore your practice.
Engage in your ability to direct your energy to all the parts and places in your life that serve.
On the free yoga calendar, we have practices that will ground you, help you tap into your power, and offer the opportunity for a different point of view.
We will end the month with by keeping up with a YWA tradition of a Halloween theme practice. (What? It’s okay to have fun!)
Our YWA Halloween week will kick off with Yoga for Inner Space Travel coming out on Sunday, Oct. 27th. These Halloween-themed videos are sometimes ridiculous and have been a blast to create over the years. I started them when only about 100 people would watch the videos. In staying true to myself, we are keeping up with the tradition with you, 5 million strong.
